Washington: During recent congressional hearings, Texas Senator Ted Cruz intimated impugning evidence concerning Republican confrere Chuck Hagel, Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Defense.
Specifically, Cruz asked if a $200,000.00 deposit to Hagel's account came “directly from Saudi Arabia” or “directly from North Korea.”
Described by a high-ranking Republican as “Jim DeMint without the charm,” Cruz confided to Glenn Beck that Democratic scorn is “a sign that maybe we’re doing something right.” (I seem to recall that this same characterization was given by Wormwood in an early manuscript edition of C.S. Lewis' "Screwtape Letters.")
Who is this Muslim-Commie sympathizer cleverly disguised as a corn-fed farmboy from America's heartland?
"After receiving the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, two Purple Hearts, and the Army Commendation Medal, and the Combat Infantryman Badge, Ronald Reagan appointed Hagel Administrator of the Veteran’s Administration." (The Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry? Conferred, perhaps, by Ho Chi Minh?)
A dark cloud has overshadowed Hagel since 1982 when he resigned from the Reagan administration over disagreement with VA Administrator Robert P. Nimmo. a functionary whose focused determination was to cut VA funding. Notably, Mr. Nimmo referred to veterans groups as "greedy" and to Agent Orange as not much worse than a "little teenage acne."
Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell impugns Obama's Republican nominee saying that Republican leadership, using the Urim and Thummim, have detected etheric traces of the number “666” emblazoned on Hagel's forehead. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seer_stone_(Latter_Day_Saints)
Hard-nosed Nebraskans have a different view of their native son most recently re-electing him with 83% of the vote to the Democratic challenger’s 14.5%. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_hagel
