During his first presidential campaign, Brown's dismissal by right-wing ideologues as "Governor Moonbeam" spoke volumes about their own lack of vision and ability to think.
Brown's successful budget transformation from blood red to deep black was achieved by a necessary combination of tax hikes and spending cuts.
And now that California confronts a budgetary surplus, he is already thinking of restoring cut money's to necessary social services such as education.
