Viruses don't "spike". They spread in a predictable manner. Turns out the spikes around the world are due to how data is collected and reported (delays) and redefining what constitutes a "covid death".
The data in from NYC is consistent with Italy and what is being seen around the world. Vast majority in very elderly with comorbidity. So not clear if deaths are "from covid" or "with covid". Numbers have been inflated.
As realistic data comes in we are seeing the incident has been about 0.1% all along.
