Dear F and Jimbo,
Warren Nosedives 50% In Most Recent Quinnipiac Poll
Monday night, my student Willard (the retired Air Force colonel - and a lifelong Republican who despises Trump) said Buttigieg has 0% support in the black community.
So...
How about...
Biden-Harris
Biden-Booker
Harris-Biden
Booker-Biden
Michelle Obama - Anyone This Side Of Life Support
In debate with Trump, Harris is the only candidate who will dependably hand him his ass.
And the presidential candidate debates are the only "scheduled events" in the presidential campaign that can actually sway significant numbers of voters. (In every candidate debate so far, Joe has mouthed gaffes even though he is on stage with his fellow democrats. I fear that Joe -- onstage with Trump -- could experience a "freefall moment" from which there would be no recovery.
I also think the optimum ticket should include a woman - and a person of color.
Remember: At this stage in the 2007 Democratic candidates race, Hillary had two thirds more support than Obama did.
"After Obama's interview on Meet the Press, opinion polling organizations added his name to surveyed lists of Democratic candidates. The first such poll (November 2006) ranked Obama in second place with 17 percent support among Democrats after Hillary Clinton (D-NY) who placed first with 28 percent of the responses."
Just because "this, that or the other" candidate/ticket is currently considered "unthinkable" is not a view that carries much weight with me.
Trump was unthinkable.
Completely unthinkable.
But not only did Malignant Messiah win the nomination, he won the presidency.
And here we are three years later with a criminal and a traitor in the White House and it's still a nail biter!

Again, I am COMPLETELY pragmatic in this year's presidential election.
If -- as we head toward the convention -- the polls show overwhelming likelihood of a November victory for a particular Democratic candidate (and not for the others), I will back that candidate.
If those "winning poll" numbers point to a Warren-Buttigieg ticket so be it.
If those numbers point to Bloomberg-Gabbard, so be it.
This is our last chance folks.
Last week I had lunch with retired Air Force general friend AWC and his usual unflappability was not in evidence.
"Even if we win" he said, "it's going to be exceedingly hard to undo the vast damage Trump has done in his first term."
Love
