  • FM: Exactly. Daily distraction theatre. If it were me, I'd have probably agreed to keep it out of my sight as McStain was not nearly the hero he's made out to be. So a complete non-issue to control the media narrative.

  • Alan Archibald However it gets "sliced" it is petty and culturally-politically destructive to keep the "McStain" (as you say) out of sight. A formal decision is made to re-commision the ship under another name.
