  Alan Archibald Elite schools offer "credentials" to "The Club" -- mostly white, mostly wealthy, and mostly determined to increase wealth beyond "normal limits." (Multiple studies have shown that happiness does not increase after an individaul exceeds an annual salary of $70,000.00.) Once inside "The Club,""the mechanisms of membership" facilitate worldly success and access to power - particularly in the highest reaches of federal government.
