America the Beautiful
Where Safety, Civilization and Happiness Converge

Well-armed Americans insist that security depends on more arms, not fewer.
The NRA argues that every citizen should be armed to maximize personal security.
I have thought about these claims and conclude that it's time to give a gun to every cinema-goer and every grocery shopper the moment they "come through the door."
These guns will contain electronic chips to sound alarms if consumers try to abscond with one.
Is this line of argument reductio ad absurdum?
Or does it show that American gun culture is founded on reductio ad absurdum?
