Alan: Posting the following article feels a bit like piling on. But it is precisely this kind of hypocrisy that corrupts the hierarchical heart of the Catholic Church. I see no alternative but rubbing their nose in it until they renounce the Christian Pharisaism that has long been the cornerstone of top-down Catholic Christianity.

Here are some facts:

Gays will marry until, in the not distant future, it is considered as normal as miscegenation now is.

With the exception of a vanishing few, all married Catholics will use artificial birth control (in addition to the 95% who do now).

Nuns will not heed the patriarchal counsel: "Get thee to a nunnery."

Women will be ordained.

About half of all clergy are already sexually active.

Soon, priests will marry

Without industrial doses of hypocrisy, the Roman Church cannot maintain the prevailing fiction.
